How to Measure Your PD

What Is PD?

PD stands for Pupillary Distance.

PD

It is the measurement, in millimeters, used to determine the distance between your pupils so your prescription lenses can be properly centered.

Your PD may already be included on your eyeglass prescription.

If it isn't, you may be able to obtain it from your eye-care provider.

Single PD vs. Dual PD

Single PD

A single PD may look like:

63 mm

63 mm

Dual PD

A dual PD uses a separate measurement for each eye and may look like:

31
/
32

31 / 32

Why Is PD Important?

Your prescription tells us what correction you need.

Your PD helps tell us where that correction should be positioned in your lenses.

That's why accurate PD information matters when ordering prescription glasses online.

Before Ordering

Please double-check your PD before submitting your order.
